Dr. Sarah Ortega's mission is to help keep your pet happy and healthy while you continue to create memories together. Her mobile practice is based on the east side of Hawaii, servicing areas from Kalapana to Volcano to Hilo.

Dr. Sarah Ortega is focused on keeping your pet healthy and comfortable and is able to help with a variety of situations.
From starting your relationship with your new puppy or kitten, all the way to helping them in their golden years, she is able to guide and care for your dog or cat throughout their lives.

Dr. Ortega's concierge services start at $100 for the exam plus a travel fee. If you have multiple pets then each additional pet is $75. Travel fee is based on location. She is based in Orchidland, so the travel fee is based on mileage from her starting point. If your neighbor needs help too, then you can split the travel fee. Please call for a quote.

About Dr. Sarah Ortega
Dr. Sarah Ortega was born into a house of animal lovers and she has had a variety of much loved pets over the years. She grew up in San Diego and went to San Diego State University where she graduated with her Bachelors in Biology. She then attended Western University of Health Sciences in Southern California and graduated with her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 2009. She practiced in Southern California until 2018 when she moved to the Big Island. After helping patients in a hospital setting for the past 7 yrs, she now has a mobile service to cater to people who would like a house visit. Of course when she is not servicing the community you may see her at the beach snorkeling, hiking in Volcano, or just sitting at the cliffs enjoying the island life.
